World Poker Tour
World Poker Tour is a series of international events that take place throughout the year making WPT a truly global poker tournament series. WPT first season started in 2002 and it is therefore much younger than World Series of Poker. Anyone who can afford $25,000 or wins a seat through a satellite tournament can participate in the Championship Event.
